In 2006, Abby left the active duty Air Force after being a jet engine mechanic for six years, where she deployed multiple times in support of OEF and OIF.  After her commitment to the Air force was up, she wanted to become a real estate agent like her grandparents.  She remembered how much joy the job brought to her family and those they helped.  She received her real estate license in 2006 and started selling real estate in Stillwater, OK, while earning a B.S. in Business Management at Oklahoma State University.  Abby also earned an M.S. in Global Supply Chain Management at the University of Southern California. 

Since the beginning of her real estate career, she has focused on working with military families and first-time homebuyers. 

For military families, Abby knows first-hand how stressful and hectic military life can be.  She moved to Abilene with her husband, Jay, after he received orders to fly C-130’s at Dyess AFB.  This is their fourth move in 5 years, but Abilene is now their home!  Abby’s goal is to ensure the military family move is as seamless as possible.          

Also, first-time homebuyers have a special place for Abby because she knows that there are so many questions and anxieties that go into that first purchase.  Abby’s goal is to ensure that the buyers feel comfortable and have the information they need to purchase the home of their dreams!

Abby enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering with Meals on Wheels and Big Brothers Big Sisters.  Abilene has some great eateries, and being a self-proclaimed foodie, you can also catch Abby supporting the community by frequenting the locally-owned restaurants and wineries/breweries.
